Mario Dice sophisticated geometry
“Lines originally parallel intertwine each other, mixing up to create a tangle that give life to something amazing, an inspiration to New York in the 80s, a gift to the best ever master CLAUDE MONTANA”. This is the mood of Mario Dice Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection, a determined woman, with a strong personality, who dares without exaggerate emphasizing her own femininity. Opposites are protagonists, from exasperate lengths to the shortest ones, from plunging necklines up to turtleneck jersey dresses. Imperceptible seams for sheath dresses that look like a second skin, narrow hip in order to highlight the silhouette in both night and day versions in jersey. High waist hip pants with a tuxedo cut, nappa leather longuette, double-breasted pinstripe suits with important shoulder pads, and ankle-length cashmere gown coats in pure cashmere liven up the elegant and strong character of the young designer’s debut fashion show. Precious embellishments such as the flocked, but also geometrical and optical 3D effects complete a collection of lines that has the power of making us dream, the prime basis of any kind of construction, project and ideal.
