In occasion of the Design Week 2015, Valextra announces its collaboration with designer Martino Gamper, for the leather goods of the brand; the new capsule collection together with an installation will be unveiled at its boutique at 3, Manzoni street, during the Design Week. Martino Gamper is the perfect partner for Valextra. Historically linked to the world of fashion, engineering and art, he is one of the most evocative and stimulating talent of his generation. Gamper, known as the master of reconfiguration – and courageous enough to play with Giò Ponti and Carlo Mollino’ works – applies his techniques to Valextra products. This collaboration has so created an interesting combination of art and experimentation.

Valextra bags and leather accessories show a sober and elegant design, with the hand-painted “Costa” piping: a black ink subtle edge, immediately recognizable to connoisseurs. Among the details: the sophisticated zips, buckles and zippers all brand patented. Gamper, fascinated by these exclusive characteristics, chose his best designs and started his unique transformation process. The installation is a Design Week not-to-be-missed event for fashion and design lovers.
