A DREAM CALLED SCERVINO

The settings is the desert around Los Angeles, the photographer is the outstanding Peter Lindbergh and the model is – twice for the Maison- Elisa Sednaoui. Ermanno Scervino chose to shoot his new commercial campaign in a wild habitat, entrusting Elisa’s allure to be the ambassador for his new Spring/Summer collection 2016. “The sense of freedom is very strong in the desert– explains the stylist –the absence of obstacles and the view of Elisa wearing white lace is a dream, a motivation to look at the future and new horizons”.

This is the vision for Scervino’s prêt-a-couture collection that once more promotes the hyper feminine style in the most sensual way. Lace in black or white used in multiple ways: stratified, overlying , thick or skin-unveiling, celebrated as a touch of grace for every occasion, even fused with cashmere pashmina for the duster coat -a must for the season-also rendered in raffia, lasered canvas or the new military-style organza for the right balancing with masculine lines.

Soft, fluid shapes – often elongated – in white, pink and black colors to stick with the safari theme of this collection. Embroidered slippers, strappy or platform sandals and leather handbags to accessorize the look. The enticing spot for this Scervino collection sparks with feminine glamour, multiplied by the contrast between the wild California desert and the sophisticated super-model beauty.
