The unique hotel fuses Italian design with timeless Oriental luxury. The Mandarin Oriental has opened in the heart of Milan, at 9 via Andegari, few steps from La Scala and via Montenapoleone. The restaurant’s floor has been designed by architect Antonio Citterio, who chose 15 different kinds of marble and wood, according to Mandarin’s philosophy of enhancing the value of the raw materials used in the host country. And to relax before dinner, nothing is better than the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Spa, featuring  two suites for personalized couple treatments, Thai massage and six relaxing treatments rooms. Every need becomes a wish to fulfill. Guests have at their disposal a world class hair salon, run by the famous hair stylist Massimo Serini, a manicure and pedicure studio, a fitness centre and an indoor swimming pool.

Architect Antonio Citterio has also decorated and furnish the 104 rooms: 73 rooms with an elegant color palette and 31 spacious suites, among which stands out the Presidential Suite, with a sophisticated environment reflecting Milanese style with a touch of the Orient. It is one of the most important opening in the luxury expo-oriented hotellerie in Milan.
