Coach Spring/Summer 2015

Coach Spring/Summer 2015 collection is adorned with the anime characters of the Californian artist Gary Baseman, created in exclusive for the American brand. This is the artist’s first collaboration with the fashion world: each creature has its own characteristics, name and cheeky charm, and tells the story of a mysterious wild world, permeated by a sense of wonderful originality. Originality is also the key theme ofCoach creative director Stuart Vevers’s collection, totally inspired by the surreal atmospheres of David Lynch’s movies.

Sticking with his creative process, Gary Baseman not only created these creatures but also imagined their world and made them interact with Coach girls & boys. Stuart Vevers chose illustrations taken from an original Gary Baseman painting, to adorn his chiffon dresses; the animalier pattern recalls the Buster creature’s mantle, and the Le Fauve prints for accessories and Ready To Wear.

These imaginary creatures are everywhere through this capsule collection, on T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, bombers and accessories. A must have!
