Arsenal Football Club collaborates with Lanvin

To celebrate the new partnership with Lanvin, Arsenal Football Club is the protagonist of a special photo shooting. The official portrait shows the players wearing Lanvin’s demi-mesure menswear, team’s official brand, while watching the model Olga Sherer who wears a look from the spring/summer 2015 Lanvin Femme collection. The suits evolve with the arrival of Spring. The players Calum Chambers, Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, David Ospina, Theo Walcott, Mathieu Flamini and Masut Ozil, wear a red rose tie pin and a gold Arsenal crest.

Designed under the expert eye of Lucas Ossendrijver, designer at Lanvin Homme, this official wardrobe combines the classic style both Arsenal and Lanvin are renowned for around the world. The Arsenal crest is stylishly emblazoned on the front of the jacket in gold and the choice of material for the suits consists of Italian Super 110 in midnight blue. A slim-fit shirt in white cotton poplin with a small collar and double cuffs will be accessorized with a red silk tie or a handmade red silk bow tie for more formal occasions. A pair of black derby shoes, a black silver-buckled belt and a pair of cufflinks engraved with the famous Arsenal cannon add the finishing touches.

Thanks to the excellence of its men’s tailoring, Lanvin can create unique pieces just like the players. In 1926, the fashion designer/entrepreneur Jean Lanvin expanded her business, within the historic boutique, with the creation of the made-to measure menswear, completely handmade and still available today in the heart of the French capital.
