La Perla at Fuorisalone 2015
The sartorial soul that characterises the La Perla collections is the creative spark that has given life to the Esprit d’Atelier project. This new piece of furniture was created by designer Walter Terruso exclusively for La Perla and it will take pride of place in the window display of the La Perla Boutique in Via Montenapoleone during the 2015 edition of Milan Design Week. A wave of small folds of silk satin create a suggestive 3D effect, inspired by one of the cult La Perla techniques: nervures, a key theme in the sophisticated Spring/Summer 2015 lingerie and beachwear creations. Esprit d’Atelierhas been designed as a multi-functional piece to be used as a pouffe or coffee table and also reflects the allure of La Perla in its satin ribbon fastened with the same golden hook as the exclusive pieces from the Atelier Collection 2015, presented in Paris during the Haute Couture show. Its shape echoes the sinuous lines of the female body, making it versatile and usable in various combinations. The range of colors includes the most symbolic shades from La Perla: black, white, nude, red and blue.
