Samuele Mazza brings green
A monochromatic theme presented in various shades of green. Salone del Mobile Milan 2016, also saw designer Samuele Mazza dressed in green, to showcase the new collection. For this outdoor furniture production, a new grey-olive color characterizes the iron elements, while the dark green is most suitable for the hand- intertwined synthetic resin structures. The rich green forest, instead, is highlighted in the natural marble and mother pearl finished gres. The message is clear and unequivocally supporting green for a sophisticated, luxuryeffect.
The novelty is not just in the chromatic choice: Samuele Mazza for DFN brings a new product in the textile panorama, a unique satin fabric designed for outdoor use. The range of colors – from green to ivory – has been developed to complement the collection pieces. The protagonist at the Salone stand, the WEZEN sofa sports distinctive modular traits. The sofa has an aluminum structure characterized by a typical pattern called “Maxi Paglia di Vienna,” realized with hand-woven synthetic resin. The chromatic details are not just complementary, but rather a touch of class.
Among the proposal impossible to ignore for this Samuele Mazza Design Week, the Sole Gazebo Pavilion. Handmade iron structure painted and finished for outdoor use and a special tech textiles for the pavilion that allows multiple shadowing effects. To complete the dramatic impact, perimeter curtains, and lanterns -or a central chandelier- to illuminate the area. The high table paired with the Sirioswivel bar chair – also in iron structure – creates a corner lounge, ideal for a drink in a sophisticated atmosphere among fresh vegetation. The table tops are available in different finishes: plain or embossed glass, plus onyx -or ceramic – in a full marble effect.
What’s more relaxing than a brunch in the garden? The Sirio dining table and chairs are the stylish answer to enhance every meal “al fresco”. Sirio chairs upholstered back, and seats are made of high-performance waterproof and stain resistant textiles for outdoors. For an after lunch nap, here comes the Wezen lounge chair: aluminum structure covered in hand-woven synthetic resin. Optimal comfort granted by its backrest, which can be reclined in 4 different positions, impossible not to find your ideal one.
