Palazzo Te, masterpiece of the Mantova Renaissance built in the XVI century, is today an international destination and art center that includes four permanent collections and features regular exhibitions.

Until June, the photographic work of German artist Candida Höfer will be on display in the breath-taking Napoleonic wing. One of the most prominent representative of the Düsseldorf school,Höfer in her career managed to portray Palazzo Te (which possibly was Europe’s most exclusive court) in all its magnificence, as well as Palazzo Ducale, Basilica di Santa Barbara, Palazzo di Canossa and many other incredible historic locations in the Lombardia region of Italy.
