BMW’S RECORD SIX MONTHS

Monaco: the BMW Group has sold more than a million vehicles in the first half of 2014, an absolute record. To be more precise, a total of 1,020,211 cars have been delivered to customers worldwide, which equals to a 6.9% increase compared to last year’s figures (954,501).

In the month of June alone, global sales of the BMW brand have reached a total of 164,214 units (153.075 in 2013), which again translates in a record + 7.3%.

In the first six months of 2014 BMW Group’s sales have been steadily increasing overseas, with the number of BMWs and Minis delivered amounting to 220,764 units (a +3.4% increase if compared to the 213.473 units shifted in 2013) while in Europe the future also is still looking bright if the 2.1% surge (445,808 units sold in 2014 / 436,460 in 2013 during the same period)
is anything to go by.
