With his ironic art, almost satirical, but at the same time jolly and expressive,  Jean Michel Basquiat today is still considered a true icon and a focal point of both  the fashion and the art world.

An inspiring figure, possibly the 20th century’s most avant-garde artist, Basquiat keeps on influencing the trendiest brands with  his universe made of bright colours, wide brush stokes and pop connotations. And to confirm it, Komono has launched a new watch collection dedicated to the NY artist: six unisex models featuring six different Basquiat masterpieces (printed on both fabric and dial) with an arty design that confirms both the artist’s and the brand’s innate creativity

The collection will be available for purchase at some selected on-line and off-line stores from May 15, 2014.
