The dream of living according to Giorgio Armani

The exhibition offers a journey across the most important cities of the world, launched at the Armani Theatre, in occasion of theMilan Design Week fair 2015. A trip into emotions and culture, showing innovative creative solutions where a luxurious yet essential aesthetic is interpreted through the culture and ethos of the single locations.

For the first time the retrospective will showcase exclusive projects developed by the Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio across the world. Sketches, renderings, scale models, pictures and material samples underline the articulate and complex experience in the research of style, forms and materials, illustrating the different phases of the projects and the working methodology. The exhibition concept evokes metaphorically Amani studio/atelier where new ideas are conceived and realized.

The exhibition represents an important milestone in the work undertaken by Armani/Casa since 2004, when to the general surprise Giorgio Armani, signed a contract of collaboration with Emaar Properties PJSC. The CEO Mohamed Alabbar, had the great intuition to contact the designer, famous for its passion for details and the pursuit of perfection, to reinforce the style and character of the Burj Khalifa of Dubai, the highest building in the world and home of the first Armani Hotel.

This is the first project of a series that include Milan, and many other cities from Miami, to Istanbul, Mumbai and Manila, Tel Aviv and Chengdu, up to London, the last project just concluded, and presented for the first time in this occasion.
