A long lasting tradition that sees exceptional champagnes being integral part of prestigious ballet shows and gala events, nowadays seems to be still pretty much alive.

Historic champagne house Ruinart – the oldest to ever produce the the precious bubbly, having started back in 1729 – has announced a new official partnership with one of the most innovative dance companies, the New York City Ballet

On May 8, 2014 this refined and elegant new venture was launched with an event held at theDavid H. Koch Theater, in which the NYCB’s 50th anniversary was celebrated with some outstanding performances that included some established productions but also more recent work featuring musical pieces bySufjan Stevens.

All this indeed accompanied by flowing rivers of Ruinart champagne,  from now the official drink of every gala event featuring the New York City Ballet and also the protagonist of an upcoming project focused on the development of dedicated Champagne Bar in conjunction with the opening of the Ballet’s fall season.

The renowned wine maker has again proved to be one of the most prestigious sponsors, keen in contributing to the promotion of art and culture around the world. Let’s just admit it: nothing can possibly be as elegant as attending an exceptional ballet show while sipping the most extraordinaire champagne!
