Avgvstvs Hotel & Resort renovates the wellness centre
Luxury renews over time, and the past only gives more prestige to the present. Augustus Hotel & Resort in Forte dei Marmi, 5 star benchmark hotel in Versilia, has a centenary past and was also the Agnelli family’s summer destination. This year the structure, designed by rationalist architect Osvaldo Borsani in 1939, has renovated its Spa, reinforcing the wellness proposal with a new project designed by Starpool. The history of Augustus is strictly connected to the architecture and design world: the owner, architect Vittorio Maschietto, was among the founders of UFO group, while the main structure, Villa Pesenti, was designed by Osvaldo Borsani as his graduation thesis. A glorious past, rich in history, but the present needs to be constantly rewritten. The resort renovates the look of the fitness center by Technogym, with special thematic menus, Jacuzzis and the new social Spa by Starpool, realized inside “La Nave”, a complex that is part of the hotel characterized by long terraced corridors, evoking the bridge of a cruise ship.
The entire project has been curated by Vittorio Maschietto, with Starpool’s support and advice, a company located in Val di Fiemme specialized in the design and creations of wellness centers and Spas. Every detail has been designed with the utmost care, like the “vision” version: the new installed products –from the SweetCollection – are all visible from outside, and overlook the resort’s park to create an even more exciting and totalizing wellness experience.
The new concept offers personalized treatments according to guests desires and needs. Thanks to the sp.a_system, a correct and customizable method to use the wellness areas patented by Starpool, there are three possible programs available Purify, Excite and Relax. Besides the warm sauna and steam bath, the Spa offers a soft and enveloping experience with the patented system of radiant wall panels SweetMediterraneanPro, which gives a touch of modernity to the ancient Roman thermal. To complete the wide range of treatments, the SweetSteamProfessional steam bath and cold reaction showers with ice cascade. A whole proposal studied to regenerate your body and mind, and find the perfect balance.
