The new Ferrari<\/strong> 488GTB<\/em> debut is set in two weeks at the Geneva Motor Show, we are all looking forward to it. <\/span>Forty years on from the unveiling of its first ever 308 GTB,  <\/span>status symbol car beyond circuit race, the Prancing Horse opens a new chapter in its 8-cylinder history,<\/span> the Ferrari 488 GTB. The new berlinetta  <\/span>provides track-level performance that can be enjoyed to the full even by non-professional drivers in everyday use. Its response times, nimbleness and on-the-limit driving guarantee a unique sense of exhilaration and unparalleled driving pleasure. Accelerating from 0-100 km\/h in 3 seconds and from 0-200 km\/h in an astonishing 8.3 seconds is not really regular road performance. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new <\/span>Ferrari<\/span><\/strong> 488GTB <\/em>brilliantly encapsulates Ferrari’s experience in race and also exploits to the full the know-how gleaned by Ferrari technicians over the last decade through the XX program which makes extreme track-only cars available to gentleman test-drivers. <\/span>The data yielded has made a significant contribution to the refinement of the electronic and vehicle control systems so that drivers can make the most of the incredible performance of this new car, with 3902 cc V8 turbo and 670 cv of power engine. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Designed by the Ferrari <\/strong>Styling Centre, the new car features guarantee the maximum of aerodynamics, the <\/span>488GTB expresses its character in every single details, from its very sculptural flanks to the circular LED tail lights redesigned.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The multifunctional steering wheel, the control switch bridge and wraparound seats and the new satellite control clusters, <\/span>angled air vents and instrument panel  <\/span>heightens the sense that the cockpit is completely tailored around the driver. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Usability was the key word in the design, leading to an extremely sporty ambience that in no way compromises on comfort. <\/span>The graphics and interface of the infotainment screen have also been completely redesigned while the design of the car’s new key takes its inspiration from the car’s cylinder banks and allows keyless starts.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

And what about the characteristic roar of Ferrari engine? <\/em>Thanks to investments in research the 488 GTB’s sound has been perfected, creating a new soundtrack that is full, clear and totally distinctive, as expected from any Prancing Horse engine<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
