Three the liveries available:&nbsp; green-yellow as an homage to the Lotus brand, black-gold as&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">Lotus F1<\/span>and&nbsp;<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">Martini<\/span>&nbsp;white with its iconic red, cyan and blue stripes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; font-size: 0.935em; color: #333333; font-family: 'Libre Baskerville', serif;\">Here is how star designer&nbsp;<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">Daniel Simon<\/span>describes the C-01, whose planning and and development involved two years of hard work: \u201cThe design process of the C-01 was a labour of love \u2013 there were many challenges \u2013 ensuring that the bike not only touches your visual senses with its timeless blend of classic appeal and modern execution, but that is safe and ergonomically sound was critical to me. We have worked hard to create a motorcycle with very distinctive features such as a clean main body, an extremely low side profile, a bold stance, a unique air intake, logical partline solutions and clean graphics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; font-size: 0.935em; color: #333333; font-family: 'Libre Baskerville', serif;\">Its distinctive body integrates carbon fibre, titanium and aerospace quality steel,&nbsp; the engine is a 1195cc V-twin from KTM\u2019s RC8R superbike with a claimed 200bhp and dry weight of 180kg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; font-size: 0.935em; color: #333333; font-family: 'Libre Baskerville', serif;\">Commenting on the C-01,&nbsp;<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">G\u00fcther Holzer<\/span>(CEO of Holzer Group) said: \u201cI was one of the first people to ride it and I have to say I was very impressed.
