Amongst his client we find&nbsp;<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">DePadova, Guzzini, Artemide, Flou,&nbsp;<\/span>but also<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">Levi\u2019s, Antonio Lupi, Cappellini<\/span>&nbsp;and, more recently,&nbsp;<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">Trussardi Casa.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">Tomaso Trussardi has declared to the press that with Carlo Colombo \u201chas been a reciprocal understanding, rather than a choice\u201d. How did it happen?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">Yes it\u2019s true, it was reciprocal. When you start working in a new partnership, having some sort of common DNA is extremely important: the world is full of professionals. You need to feel a human affinity \u2013 which is essential to correctly interpret the brand \u2013 and then to translate it into a convincing project, such as in this case, where we were challenged to interpret Trussardi\u2019s historic role in the fashion world, but in regards to interior design items. It went so well it\u2019s safe to say that this partnership is only going to become more intense.<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">Any previews?<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">No, I\u2019m afraid I can\u2019t. I can only say that this partnership is getting stronger and we are planning other collaborations in the future.<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">How much of Carlo Colombo is in Trussardi Casa?<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">A lot. Attention for details but also more formal research, the uniqueness of this collection, which I feel very much, is becoming more and more&nbsp;<em style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">Milanese<\/em>&nbsp;every day. From lamps to sofas, through chairs and armchairs \u2013 such as the \u201cA-Round\u201d, which is becoming the collection\u2019s flagship item \u2013 we are developing a neat style mixed with an ironic vision of the act of sitting, a fundamental part of my production.<\/div>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; font-size: 0.935em;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">What is your secret?<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">I can\u2019t reveal my secret, but I can tell you what inspires me. Achille Castiglioni taught me the concepts of memory and irony. Memory because a product must be recognisable. An object capable of attracting the customer\u2019s attention, desirable, that must share a past. The contrary goes for irony, everybody needs a sprinkle of lighthearted fun. And of course, everything must be translated in your own signature style.<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 21.4400005340576px;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: bold;\">You have distinguished yourself from the others for your versatility in<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">developing elements<\/span>: from design, to interiors through architecture. Do you ever get stuck?<br style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\" \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; font-size: 0.935em;\">No, never. Actually, when I embark on new projects, I\u2019m always at full speed.
