Friedrich Nietzsche, Giovanni Segantini, Alberto Giacometti are three prestigious names with ties to Engadina,  a precious and elegant natural treasure sheltered by the Swiss Alps.

The Val Bregaglia valley on the Italian-Swiss border, this year once again has turned into a must-see destination for those looking for a place offering both culture and excitement. Between April 5 – 21, 2014, it will host the Festival dell’Arte, a spring festival summoning artists from all over the world in a display of artistic excellency that merges gastronomic delicacies, breath-taking natural surroundings with historic value, secular traditions and the exclusiveness that has made Engadina the perfect hideout for many centuries.

The official program will include readings, presentations, workshops with the artists taking part to the event, retrospectives, guided tours of the region as well as artistic and literary excursions through the places that much inspired theGiacometti family.
