Preferred Hotels & Resorts lands in Qatar
Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Katara Hospitality, together for the launch of the Murwab Hotel Group. The two major worldwide leaders reached an agreement to potentiate the Murwab Hotel Group, the operative division of independent hotels of Katara Hospitality. Among the most sought after structures of Qatar, France and Switzerland- now in the Preferred Hotels & Resorts -with 5 more hotels in Europe and Middle East ready to join them within the next 18 months. The goal is to expand the prestige of the Murwab Hotel Group, born in 2015, to consent single properties to entrust Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ s experience in the field of corporate travel and leisure to their advantage, giving the innovative marketing strategy and top notch platform distribution with a network of 40 offices located around the world.
In doing so, Preferred Hotels & Resorts lands – for the first time- in Qatar, with the Saraya Corniche Hotel in Doha. Located in a strategic position only 10 minutes from the Hamad International Airport and 5 minutes from Doha’s Commercial District, this hotel has 220 rooms, with breathtaking view of the Arabian Gulf for the suites, all with sumptuous Turkish marble bathrooms. The Izmir restaurant gourmet proposals are exquisitely internationally oriented, from breakfast to dinner.
In the European scenario, the Hotel Royal Savoy in Lausanne- Switzerland – is now part of the Group Preferred Hotels & Resorts. Since this hotel re- opening, it is considered now the most sophisticated destination for travelers in the Swiss city, mostly characterized by the timeless liberty style elegance mixed with a fresh contemporary approach in design. Spa du Royal will open next Spring to complete the offer, with 196 rooms between suites and standard rooms with an impressive, beautiful panoramic terrace restaurant. The 5 thousand square meters park, gives a unique atmosphere of relax in the heart of the city.
Murwab Hotel Group portfolio offers its guests a cultural approach to local cultures combined with the most vanguard comforts and services. Among the first structures that will join the Preferred Hotels & Resorts circuit, apart from the Saraya Corniche and Royal Savoy hotels, will be the Sealine Beach Resort (Mesaieed, Qatar), Simaisma and the Murwab Resort, also in Doha.
