ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM DROPHEAD COUPÉ WATERSPEED COLLECTION
It has been unveiled in Europe for the first time at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Estein the breathtaking surroundings of Lake Como. The Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection is a special edition limited to 35 pieces that the british maker wanted to produce as a well-deserved tribute to the speed records achieved on water by Malcolm Campbell in 1937 with a Bluebird K3 hydroplane boat mounting a Rolls Royce R engine.
On the brand’s 110th birthday, the exclusive RR series moves one step forward towards an uncompromising contemporary elegance with some fine details such as the Maggiore Blue livery, that doesn’t fail to enhance some of the vehicle’s hidden treasures, like its engine.
“I think Charles Rolls would have loved this vehicle. He would have been fully in tune with Sir Malcolm Campbell’s spirit of endeavour.” Giles Taylor, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ Director of Design revealed to the press.
The Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection comes with a €530k price tag.
