Porsche Italy ski club and the winter season
Porsche renews its passion for mountain on the snow of Livigno. The Porsche Italy ski club opens the 13th season with Porsche owners sharing the same passion for skiing as protagonists. The Grand Opening in Livigno, from 16 to 18 January, next appointment in Macugnaga from 6 to 8 February, then Andalo, from 20 to 22 February. The closing event will be in Cortina d’Ampezzo, from 6 to 8 March, during the vintage cars Winter Race. Four-wheels excellence also in extreme weather conditions in the Livigno ice arena. The Porsche Sport Driving School offers some driving tests on snow, to teach safe driving on surfaces with poor adherence. During the opening, the guest Peter Runggaldier, ski world champion and technical manager of the Club, will take the members on the runs along the spectacular Livigno ski area tour through Italy and Switzerland.
Sunday will be dedicated to the giant slalom, designed by Runggaldier, where the club members are challenged first in a ski race and then in a car race. There is only one requirement to become a member of the Porsche Ski Club: to possess any of the German brand’s cars.
