THE MOST POWERFUL TO DATE
An all-aluminium-bodied car with a total weight of 1585kg, able to reach 100 km/h in 3,9 seconds. Its name is F-TYPE Project 7 and it’s the fastest and more powerful production Jaguar ever. A tribute to Jaguar’s seven victories at Le Mans, inspired by the Jaguar D-Type (which this year celebrates its 60th birthday) the F-TYPE’s production will be limited to 250 units.
The Project 7 mounts a 575PS and 680Nm5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine, which enables the vehicle to reach an electronically-limited top speed of 300km/h. The F-TYPE Project 7 is fully road-legal and amongst other things, it features a stowable roof and a 196-litre luggage space.
Key design elements include the D-type-inspired fairing behind the driver’s head, shorter windshield, new front bumper, and downforce-increasing aerodynamic modifications – including a carbon-fibre front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser and adjustable rear spoiler.
The F-TYPE Project 7 will debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed tomorrow June 26, 2014. What better way to test drive a car before deciding to splash some money on it?
