Trussardi Fall-Winter 2015/2016 man collection

A young man looking evasive at camera, big sunglasses covering his eyes. He’s wearing layers apparently casually matched: threadbare t-shirts, spotted parka, ripped jeans, aviator cap. This is one of Kurt Cobain’s most famous photo.Gaia Trussardi was inspired by this picture for her Trussardi Fall-Winter 2015/2016 collection. The collection defines a sense of elegance that is fragile and decisive, gloomy and light, nostalgic and contemporary, resulting in a wardrobe of precious yet solid pieces, to live and appreciate, realized with the traditional  Maison’s savoir-faire and know-how of materials.Richness of  textures is the unifying elements of the collection: a tactile and esthetic experience, to be closely admired. The soft and enveloping silhouette, egg shaped, is defined by  layering and voluminous lines. Crew neck shirts and long cardigan in bouclé, chenille and worsted wool. Deerskin leather clay-colored coats with curly hedgehog fur lining. The tailoring is characterized by doughy and melting patterns. Denim turns into flannel, the cargo pants are made of twill and the t-shirts in subtle cashmere gauze. The outwear -trucker, blouson, biker- is in doubled leather with glances of bird’s eye texture in wool. Accessories enhance the elegant personality of the collection: raised tip derby closed by gaiters, multi-textures bags and backpacks in wool felt check and natural cowhide, wool and deerskin leather, or in crackeled opaque denim colored leather.
