Gucci and Alessandro Michele’s first collection

Gucci unveiled the window design for Alessandro Michele’s first collection for Fall Winter 2015-16. Featuring turquoise and purple LEDs to create a dynamic 3D perspective, the window designs are strikingly linear and geometric, an impression reinforce by a diamond pattern on a iron sheet that forms the floor. The window comes to life through an industrial and mechanized rotating rail displaying ready-to-wear, alongside iron-covered pedestals, while a large embroidered snake slithers across the floor. The effect is surreal.

This impression is reinforced in the accessories windows, where a giant embroidered swallow or bee swoops through the air above a carpet of flowers, carrying a Gucci Dyonisus handbag. In some locations, the tableau also features rotating platforms supporting elegant wooden models of hands adorned with jewelry.
