DVF celebrates the iconic wrap dress

DVF presents a new capsule collection dedicated to her iconic wrap dress. Created by Diane von Furstenberg in 1974, the wrap dress, the versatile jersey dress gown in printed silk, became one of the piece most desirable from women all over the world, symbol of independence and women’s empowerment. After 40 years from the first wrap dress, DVF proposes 9 historic models declined in 7 archive prints for Spring/Summer 2015: from the classic wrap dress gown, to the sundress with halter neckline, up to one-shoulder dresses and longed tunics for the warm summer nights. The patterns, with a 70s allure and clearly vintage, reflect the traditional prints of the DVF origins: the Signature and Chainlink, with black&white optical effect, the Diamond, geometric and multifaceted, or the Amelia and Leopard, with a more feminine look.
