Moschino lights up Fall/Winter 2016
Moschino has a new, playful topic after the -widely talked about – past year collection focused on the junk food concept. For this year, the fashion house Creative Director Jeremy Scott makes clear that smoking – as the actual lighting up of a cigarette – is back in vogue again. The theme of this Fall/Winter 2016 collection nods to cigarettes, packs and lighters, in rendering a virtual mockery of the smoking taboo, with sweatshirts bearing the logo “Fashion Kills” or “Warning: quitting fashion now greatly reduces serious risks to your health.”
In case you need more, here comes the clutch in the shape of a cigarette pack or the bucket bag with matches print for the accessories, but there are also the PVC backpacks – in cow or burned effects and a funky – cartoonish style – cigarette smoking cow design. Every piece from the collection, named “It’s Lit”, is available to buy online directly from moschino.com as well as on the Net-A-Porter, Opening Ceremony and Luisaviaroma websites. The collection is also available to buyers at the Milan, Rome, London, Paris and LA brand’s stores
