HIGH FASHION MEETS SOCIAL SOLIDARITY IN MILAN
It has finally re-opened. We are talking about Convivio, the most important Market Exhibition in Italy born with a charitable purpose as it has been fundraising to support HIV/AIDS research for many years now.
From June 13 to June 17, 2014, Fiera di Milano will host this exceptional exhibition/meeting/sale. At the event, some of the most important fashion, beauty, art and design brands will sell some of their creations with a 50% discount. Valentino, Chanel, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, but also Giorgio Armani andMissoni: all proceeds will go to ANLAIDS (Italian Association for Fight Against AIDS).
Convivio has been operating for over twenty years, restlessly working to support HIV/AIDS research and prevention; this initiative was born in 1992, created by Gianni Versace together with Gianfranco Ferrè, Giorgio Armani and Valentino. Today, Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani is the person leading the committee promoting the project.
This open-to-all 2014 edition will feature a rich selection dedicated to art and design, as well as a space reserved to vintage items. In our gallery you can find some known faces that have decided to support Convivio 2014 by becoming spokespersons.
